Leadership

Dr. Sonia Raj, DIT, PMP

Founder, Azielon

Dr. Sonia Raj is a technology leader, educator, and mentor with more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry. She earned her Doctor of Information Technology and spent more than two decades at Marriott International, leading enterprise technology initiatives and delivering large-scale solutions.

For the past 10+ years, she has also coached students through the American Computer Science League, mentoring students from elementary through high school, with many advancing to national-level competition.

Her mission at Azielon is to help students move beyond learning concepts to building confidence, solving real-world problems, and creating with technology.

He brings a strong foundation in software engineering and business analytics, helping students turn ideas into functional products while developing practical skills in coding, problem-solving, and product development.

Where the name comes from. Azielon's story began with Aziel.live, where prayer journals were published under the name Aziel, Hebrew for "God is my strength." Over time, that vision grew and evolved into Azielon.com, a full technology education institute spanning AI, computer science, and math. The work may look different today, but the foundation remains the same: every gift, skill, and opportunity entrusted to us is meant to serve a purpose greater than ourselves.
