Azielon offers educational programs that may involve online classes, programming tools, artificial intelligence services, GitHub, project platforms, and other educational technology.

Federal children’s privacy law may require parental consent before Azielon collects certain personal information online directly from a child under age 13.

This form explains what may be collected and asks for your authorization.

1. Information Azielon May Collect

Depending on the program, Azielon may collect or maintain information including:

• student’s name;
• age or grade;
• school;
• class enrollment;
• attendance;
• assignments;
• project submissions;
• code;
• AI prompts used for educational activities;
• assessment information;
• instructor feedback;
• GitHub username or project link;
• online-class participation;
• student-created presentations; and
• other information reasonably necessary to deliver the student’s program.

Azielon seeks to minimize the collection of unnecessary information.

2. Online Educational Services

My child may participate in Azielon educational activities through services that may include:

• Zoom or similar video-conferencing tools;
• coding platforms;
• GitHub;
• AI tools;
• cloud-development platforms;
• databases;
• project-hosting platforms; and
• other services used as part of the curriculum.

I understand that these third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, and age requirements.

Azielon will provide guidance regarding required accounts when appropriate.

3. AI Tools

I understand that Azielon may teach my child to use artificial intelligence tools for educational purposes.

My child will be instructed not to provide AI systems with sensitive information such as:

• passwords;
• financial information;
• home address;
• government identification numbers;
• confidential medical information;
• private family information; or
• another person’s private information.

4. Student Projects

I understand that my child may create projects such as:

• Python programs;
• AI applications;
• GitHub repositories;
• websites;
• research projects;
• presentations; or
• deployed applications.

Some projects may be hosted online.

Azielon will instruct students about protecting personal information, passwords, credentials, and API keys.

5. Online Class Participation

I authorize my child to participate in Azielon’s online educational sessions.

Participation may involve the child’s:

• display name;
• voice;
• video;
• class chat;
• screen sharing; or
• presentation of student work.

Azielon will provide notice if a particular class or presentation is recorded.

6. Internal Educational Use

I authorize Azielon to collect and use my child’s information as reasonably necessary to:

• provide instruction;
• communicate about the student’s program;
• maintain attendance;
• evaluate assignments;
• provide feedback;
• support projects;
• administer presentations;
• issue certificates;
• maintain program safety; and
• provide related educational services.

7. Sharing With Service Providers

I understand that limited student information may be processed by third-party service providers where necessary to deliver Azielon’s educational services.

Azielon does not sell my child’s personal information.

Azielon does not intend to use my child’s personal information for behavioral advertising.

Withdrawal of consent will apply prospectively and may affect participation in activities requiring the information.

The consent above is for educational participation and privacy purposes. It does NOT automatically give Azielon permission to use your child’s identifiable photo, video, voice, testimonial, or presentation for advertising or public promotional purposes.

Azielon will use a separate Media & Project Showcase Consent for those purposes.
